Chapter 8 She Kisses Him
“You bitch! What did you say?”
Molly pounced at the maid with a ferocious face. Neilson.
grabbed her by the wrist and slapped her face hard.
“Don’t you think you’ve embarrassed yourself enough?”
Neilson had never felt so embarrassed.
He looked disappointingly at Molly and Daisy and said, “I’m
confident to say that I’ve never treated you unfairly. How could
you do this? You let me down thoroughly! Fine! You are no
longer welcome at the Osborne’s place! Move out tomorrow!”
Daisy shook, and her face was deadly pale.
She thought, “How did everything come to this?
“According to my plan, Shirlene should have been the one being
kicked out of the Osborne’s place right now. How did it end up
being me and Mom getting kicked out?
“No! I can’t live without being the daughter of the Osborne
family!”

“Dad! I know I was wrong. Really! Please don’t kick me out!”
Daisy burst into tears. She knelt on the ground in distress and begged Neilson, “Things have been hard for Mom and me. I have
never been accompanied by my dad since childhood, and it is
you who let me know what it’s like to be loved by a father. You
are my father. Please don’t kick me out!”
Molly knelt at once as well, grabbed Neilson’s hand, and cried.
She said, “Neilson, I know what I did was wrong. It’ll never
happen again. Will you forgive me just this once?”
Neilson looked at them crying, and suddenly, he found it hard to
continue to be ruthless.
He abandoned them once in order to unite the Bernstein family
by marriage, so he had been trying to make it up to them all.
these years. It never occurred to him that Molly, who was so
simple and gentle back then, would become like this.
Looking at the expression on Neilson’s face, Shirlene suddenly
said, “Dad, if I couldn’t prove my innocence, would you forgive
me if I just knelt here and begged you?”
Neilson subconsciously wanted to say no.
He looked at Shirlene in front of him, and suddenly, he felt a
little guilty to her, and she somehow seemed strange to him.

He glanced coldly at Daisy and said in a deep voice, “Since you
were wrong, you should bear the consequences. Move out and
reflect on yourselves!”
Molly almost fainted.
Daisy crawled toward Neilson and wanted to plead with him.
again, but he didn’t even glance at her. With a sullen face, he
turned and strode out of the ballroom.
Daisy slumped on the floor. She and Molly looked utterly
embarrassed as if they were stray curs.
The onlookers gathered around them, pointing and sneering.
“How shameless! They occupied Ms. Osborne’s home, and they
even plotted against Ms. Osborne! They deserve to be kicked
out!”
“You’re right! They have no self–awareness at all. How could
they be a match for Ms. Osborne at all?”
“She doesn’t deserve to…”
Daisy lowered her head and gritted her teeth, filled with hatred.
She thought, “I blame Shirlene, that bitch. She makes us doomed!
“I’m Neilson’s daughter as well. Why should I be kicked out?

“You bitch, Shirlene!”
“You aren’t convinced?” Shirlene bent down and pinched Daisy’s
face, delighted when seeing Daisy’s face twisted due to great
hatred. “Relax. This is just the beginning. I’ll get back everything
you owe me one by one!”
Then she slapped Daisy’s face and turned away chicly.
In the VIP room, Sebastian stared at Shirlene’s pretty figure on
the screen and smiled.
Simon pushed the door open and walked in on such a scene. He
couldn’t help but click his tongue and say, “Since you care about
her so much, why don’t you stand up for her yourself? Why are
you just hiding here watching the cameras?”
Sebastian’s smile vanished at once, and he said coldly, “Who told
you I cared?”
Simon fetched a glass of wine, leaned over the table, looked at
him, and teased, “If you don’t care about her, why are you here?
And you even agreed to let her install a security camera next to
the staircase? You’re such a liar.“”
“Donald, call Mr. Wilson…”
At the mention of Howard Wilson, Simon’s father, Simon
coughed and snorted unhappily, wiping the wine stain from his
mouth. He said, “I just helped you, OK? You burn your bridges
so fast? No wonder Shirlene has feelings for that gigolo. A man
like you…”
Sebastian looked at him coldly, and he quickly made a gesture to
zip his mouth.
“Shirlene is your wife indeed. She is so badass. You didn’t see the
looks on the two women’s faces…”
Sebastian coldly interrupted him, “She won’t be soon.”
“What do you mean? Are you really going to divorce her?”
Simon turned serious and frowned.
“Yes.” Sebastian picked up his suit jacket from the sofa and
walked out.
Simon looked at Donald, silently asking, “What’s going on?”
Donald shook his head and followed Sebastian out.
Shirlene went back to the villa, eager to share her experience
tonight with Sebastian.
She pushed open the door and saw the empty bedroom, and
suddenly, she was overwhelmed by an indescribable sense of

loss.
She had never wanted to see Sebastian as much as she did now.
Then her eyes lit up as she thought of something. She ran
downstairs, said something to the maid, and went upstairs.
When Sebastian returned to the villa, he did not see the familiar
figure, and his eyes turned cold.
“Mrs. Pearson isn’t back?”
Thinking of Shirlene’s instructions, the maid immediately said,
“Mrs. Pearson is back. She’s in the room…”
Sebastian looked away and was about to go upstairs when the
maid said hurriedly, “Mrs. Pearson didn’t seem well when she
came back. Perhaps she was unhappy or sick. Perhaps you want
to check on her…”
Sebastian went upstairs without saying a word.
Passing by the bedroom, he remembered the maid’s words. He
hesitated for a second, and then he pushed open the door and
walked inside.
There was no sign or sound of her in the bedroom.
Sebastian frowned and was about to walk out when he heard a

heavy object hit the water from the bathroom accompanied by
a woman’s scream.
“Shirlene!” He pushed open the bathroom door at once and
stepped inside quickly.
Shirlene collapsed in the bathtub, her face pale. Her fair,
flawless skin was particularly eye–catching.
Sebastian’s eyes darkened as his Adam’s apple rolled, and then
he pulled the towel from a nearby shelf and covered Shirlene’s
body.
He checked her head and didn’t see any signs of injury, and he
subconsciously breathed a sigh of relief.
“Wake up, Shirlene.”
Shirlene didn’t respond.
Sebastian’s face turned sullen at once. He quickly picked
Shirlene up from the bathtub and walked out of the bathroom.
As he bent down to put Shirlene on the bed, she suddenly
reached out, wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed
him.
“Sebastian!” she said with a grin.

Sebastian stiffened. His expression changed drastically, and his
eyes went cold utterly.
“You fooled me?” His voice was cold as well. He looked down at
her, his eyes nothing but chilling. “You think that’s funny,
Shirlene?”
She looked at his angry face and was stunned. A trace of guilt
flashed across her eyes.
“I was wrong, Sebastian.” She stared at him without blinking,
her eyes bright. She then pouted, feeling aggrieved. “I just want you to care about me a little more. Why are you so mean?”
