Chapter 22 He Sends You to Me
“Release my hand.” Sebastian’s tone was icy, sending shivers
down anyone’s spine.
Despite her anxiety, Buena clung to his hand. “Sebastian, if you
confront them, Errol might think you’re betraying him,
jeopardizing our collaboration… I could go instead…”
“Get lost.”
Sebastian turned around, shooting a fierce glare at Buena. His
eyes burned with anger.
Trembling, Buena felt a chill in the air due to his piercing gaze.
Almost involuntarily, she released his hand and stepped back.
Sebastian stormed towards the door, only to have someone
suddenly block his path.
“Mr. Pearson, where are you going?” Lester smiled and blocked
the door.
“Get out,” Sebastian said coldly and stared at him.
Lester curled his lips and looked at Buena, who sat not far away. Lester said in a low voice, “Sebastian, you chose that woman and

gave up Shirlene. Don’t blame others for going for her.“”
Sebastian looked at Lester and threatened, “Don’t you dare
touch her”
Lester leaned over to get close to Sebastian and smiled, “You’ll
see. Shirlene will be my woman.”
Lester stood straight and looked at Sebastian defyingly. Then,
Lester turned around and rushed out.
The more Shirlene thought, the sadder she was. As she went out
of the room, she shed tears. She felt wronged and sad.
She knew that Sebastian was angry with her. But she thought
as he knew about her changes and attitude, Sebastian would
come around. However, it seemed that he had another woman
and didn’t care about her.
Since then, why did he come to save her?
She cursed Sebastian in her heart. Suddenly, Shirlene realized
that she had come out hurriedly and didn’t tell Lester. But she
didn’t want to go back to that room and didn’t want to see
Sebastian being intimate with others.
Shirlene thought for a while and decided to call Debby.
However, she found that she rushed out and didn’t bring her

bag.
Her wallet and phone were in her bag. This place was far away
from the city. She couldn’t go back without a car.
Shirlene bit her lips, wiped her red eyes, and turned to walk
back.
She didn’t walk back for steps. Suddenly, someone grabbed her
wrist with force and pulled her into a room.
There was no light in this room, and it was dim. Shirlene.
couldn’t figure out who held her hand, but she thought it was a
man. Because they were close, Shirlene smelt the scent of
cigarettes and wine.
“Who are you? Let go of me!” Shirlene raised her voice and said
sternly. She tried to break free from his grip, but he was strong.
Shirlene couldn’t move.
“Your name is Shirlene?” The man said flirtatiously and got close
to Shirlene’s ear. He chuckled, “That’s a good name.”
She recognized that it was Errol.
Shirlene came back to her senses and clenched her fists. She
gritted her teeth and yelled, “What are you doing? Let me go
now!”

“Don’t you know what I want to do, Ms. Osborne?”
Enchanted by the scent of Shirlene’s hair, Errol tightly held her
hands while grasping a strand of her long hair under the dim
light.
Confidently, Errol proposed, “If you become my woman, I can
provide everything you desire–money, fame, anything.” He
assumed Shirlene wouldn’t refuse, given his past success with
women, except for Buena.
Despite Errol’s admiration for Shirlene and his reluctance to
offend Sebastian, he couldn’t help but compare her to Buena,
acknowledging Shirlene’s greater allure.
Shirlene rebuffed Errol’s proposal, scolding him as she raised
her high–heeled foot and stomped on his foot.
In pain, Errol retaliated by slapping Shirlene, causing her head
to hit the wall, resulting in blood dripping from her mouth.
Errol’s confident smile vanished as he looked at Shirlene with a
gloomy expression. He seized her by the hair, forcing her to
raise her head, and sternly warned, “You better know your
place. I don’t like overly subservient women, but I won’t tolerate
defiance. Don’t irritate me.”
Shirlene’s face turned pale and her forehead was full of sweat.

She glared at Errol and trembled because of anger. “If you dare
touch me, I’ll kill you!”
Errol sneered with disdain. He felt Shirlene’s delicate skin and
stared at her with desire. “I see.”
After that, he pinched Shirlene’s chin and wanted to kiss her.
Shirlene widened her eyes in fear and hurriedly tilted her head.
She managed to struggle and tried to kick Errol with her high
heels.
“Errol, let me go!”
Shirlene fought back, beating and kicking Errol, making it
difficult for him to restrain her. His patience wore thin.
Startled by approaching footsteps, Errol urgently covered
Shirlene’s mouth, only to have her bite his hand in response.
Shirlene tasted Errol’s blood, causing him pain. He released her
hands and delivered another slap.
In pain and shock, Shirlene screamed, staggered, and collapsed
onto the ground.
Checking his wound, Errol scolded Shirlene in his native
language, calling her a “bitch.”
Chapter 22 He Sends You to Me
Dazed and hurting, Shirlene, before she could sit up, was
forcefully thrown onto the bed by Errol.
As Errol leaned over, restraining her hands, he coldly
admonished, “Mr. Pearson agreed to send you to me. Do you
think you can escape?”
The mention of “Mr. Pearson agreed to send you to me” pierced
Shirlene’s heart like a knife, leaving her heartbroken.
Frozen and trembling, the hope in Shirlene’s eyes gradually
faded away as she pondered her situation.
“Sebastian, do you hate me so much?
I’m your wife, but you sent me to another man?
You feel pity for Buena, but why are you so ruthless to me?
Sebastian, I hate you…”
Shirlene closed her eyes and her face was full of tears. She gave
up and didn’t struggle anymore. She just lay on the bed.
Errol became excited, touched her slender legs, and wanted to
kiss Shirlene’s lisps…
