Chapter 5N
Dale’s skirt was torn by the steps and her legs were exposed to everyone’s sight.
Everyone gasped.
“How can Miss Woodward’s legs be so terrible? They were fine before…“N
“The bones have melted into water. This leg is completely useless!”
“Where is Laurence? Didn’t he say that she was cured?“N
Dale lay on the ground and wailed softly.N
But no one dared to approach her.
Laurence was so scared that his face turned pale and his voice was trembling.N
“How could this happen? Dale had just stood up…“N
Mrs. Woodward, who received the news, rushed into the banquet hall.N
Looking at Dale lying on the ground, she raised her hand and slapped Laurence.
“Laurence, you promised me that you could cure Dale! Look at what you have done to her? If there is anything wrong with Dale’s legs, I will not let you go! Come here, lock up Laurence for me. Don’t let him run away!”
After the words fell, two bodyguards stepped forward, grabbed Laurence’s hands and took him out of the banquet hall.
Laurence struggled desperately and shouted at Dale.
“Dale, I don’t know what happened. Believe me, I really didn’t hurt you! Don’t touch me! Dale, tell them to let me go!” But now Dale was so painful that she was almost suffocated and she had no energy to care about Laurence.M
Then the bodyguard dragged the unconscious Laurence out with a knife.
Mrs. Woodward looked at Dale’s legs at a loss.N
“Mr. Richardson, what do you think? Can Dale’s legs be saved?“N
I sighed.
“It’s too late. Send her to the hospital for amputation, at least she can save her life.”}
As soon as I finished speaking, Mrs. Woodward rolled her eyes and fainted.
Dale raised her head and struggled.
“I don’t agree, I absolutely can’t be amputated! Georgie, you quack, you hate me because you can’t marry me, I won’t let you succeed! Let’s see who dares to send me to the hospital!”
I sneered.
“I hate you? You think too highly of yourself. You know what medicine Laurence gave you? Dale, I don’t care whether you live or die.” After saying that, I turned and left.
Angela, who had been silent all the time, trotted to catch up with me.
“Georgie, did you know that Dale’s legs would become like this?”
I met her inquiring eyes and looked cold.
“Are you blaming me for not reminding her?“>
Angela hurriedly explained, “No, you misunderstood me. She and I don’t get along at all. She deserved what she got today. I’m so happy. I’m just curious why you are so sure that her legs will be in trouble. Georgie, I really don’t mean to blame you. I just spoke in the wrong tone…”
