Chapter 3
Jessica took a few days off after I slapped her.[]
She didn’t show up in the dorm, and the gossip on campus started to cool off, replaced by some new scandal.]]
But I knew better–this wasn’t over.[
She planned this way ahead of time.]]
Those shower photos?
She took them ages ago.
No way in hell she’s letting this go.]
But instead of her next move, I got a breakup text from my boyfriend.[]
Right||
In all the chaos with Jessica, I’d almost forgotten about that piece of trash.
Ryan.
We’d been together for three years in college.
He chased me for three months before I finally gave him a shot.
He used to be all sweet and caring–big thanks to Jessica for helping me see who he really is.]]
The second I answered his call, he went off.
No pause. No hello. Just rage.
“Mia, you really had me fooled.“]
“Three damn years and you never let me touch you–I thought you were just shy or something, turns out you were already screwing someone else.”
Same crap he pulled in the last life.
Only difference?
I don’t give a damn anymore.
“Did your mom give birth without a brain in your skull, or did it just rot from never being used?”
“You believe whatever bullshit people throw at you, huh?“[]
“Talkin‘ about sex like it’s a hobby–If you’re that obsessed, why not apply to be Sleeping Beauty?“[]
“Should be right up your alley.”
I didn’t even wait to hear his next insult.
Hung up.
Done
I knew it–Jessica was at it again
On the way back to the dorm, I could feel the stares.]
Whispers followed me down every hallway.
When I finally stepped into the room, Jessica was still gone.
Taylor yanked me to her desk.]
“Check the campus forum,” she said.
Boom
There it was.
Pictures of me in a towel–from that summer trip, when I FaceTimed Jessica from the hotel.
Now they were everywhere.[]
Captioned:
“My roommate’s always out at hotels with random guys… y’all think she’s okay?“[]
The photos looked like hotel rooms–definitely not our dorm.]
Comment section? Exploding.]
“Damn, this girl’s body is fire.”
“No way, that’s the hot girl from the Psych department?“|
“She’s out here living wild, huh?“]]
“Yo, anyone got her rate?”
“Okay but why are we posting someone’s private photos?“]
“She plays the innocent type, but she’s clearly a freak.“[]
Just like last time.j
Jessica had posted my private photos to make it look like I was sleeping around.[]
And she didn’t stop there–she even edited the pictures to make them look more like selfies.
This wasn’t some heat–of–the–moment revenge.[]
She planned this.
No matter how hard I tried to ignore the stares, the smirks, the whispering,
Jessica made damn sure the internet caught fire.]
But not this time
Some people only learn when you burn their world to the ground.
Chapter 4
Jessica rode the attention wave like a pro.Д]
Posted a huge exposé, acting like she was some poor victim speaking up against me.]]
She said I was sleeping with different guys while still on campus.[]
Said I had no morals.
And the internet? Ate it up.]]
Sure, a few people tried to stay neutral- “Don’t judge without knowing the full story“-but they got drowned out by a flood of insults.
Thousands of comments stacked up like bricks in her comment section.]]
And then Ryan.]]
Yeah, he popped up in her new video–like they’d rehearsed the whole thing.
Played the heartbroken ex.
Cried on camera.
Said he gave me everything and I “betrayed” him.[]
The internet wept.
“Men like you don’t deserve that kind of pain.“]
“You deserve someone better.”
“Don’t let her break your heart, King.“]
Some girls even offered themselves up in the comments.
Desperate.
And that last line from him?
Chef’s kiss.
Just enough fake sympathy to stir the pot even more- “Please don’t bully Mia. She’s already broken.” Right
Like he cared
Then they came for me
My socials got doxxed
My inbox exploded.]
Hundreds of strangers telling me to die, calling me names, threatening my family.]
All based on lies.
They called it “justice”
They had no idea they were just being used
Last time, those words tore me apart
I couldn’t sleep.
I started believing them.
I spiraled into depression.
But this time?
I stared at my DMs, stone–faced.]
Some of the hate was laughably stupid.]
The serious threats? Screenshotted.]
Every vile message–documented.]
You want to send me a gift?
Pine.]
I’ll send it right back–wrapped up nice for the cops.
The internet’s not lawless.[]
You’ll all get what’s coming.
-0
Then the “gifts” started coming.
A dead rat.
A black–and–white photo of me like I’d died.]
A crusty pair of men’s underwear.
Disgusting.
But I kept every single one
Unbothered.
People started whispering that I’d snapped.
Maybe I had
Finals were coming up when Jessica finally showed her face on campus again.
People’s curiosity flared back to life.
They even placed bets on the forum.
“Will Mia lose her mind and go after Jessica?”
I didn’t go looking for Jessica
She came to me
After my 8 AM lecture, she was waiting outside
A whole crowd had gathered, watching!
Dramatic stares.
Little gasps like she had something so important to say but just coulun ……
རྗ་ཏྲྰཾ་ ྃ་ཅི
She was good.
Gorgeous girl with teary eyes?[]
Instant sympathy.
“You don’t have to be afraid,” someone said.[]
“We’re here for you.”
“Tell us what she did. We’ve got your back.”
Jessica sniffled.]
Then spoke.
“Mia… I just said a few honest things. That’s all.]
I never thought she’d go this far. Please… just stop. I won’t say anything ever again.“]]
The crowd ate it up.
Their eyes burned into me, waiting for a meltdown.[]
I leaned back on a desk, watching the show.
Jessica caught my blank stare.
Her panic flickered for a split second, but she kept going.
Someone yelled,
“She bullied you, didn’t she? Say it! We’ll help you!”
“She can’t scare you anymore!“]]
Jessica gave a dramatic little flinch, like just looking at me terrified her.
Flashes from phone cameras went off around us.
Then, for the big finale–she pulled out her phone.
“Look,” she said.
“These are the threats 1got. From her.”
Screenshots of someone threatening her–if she didn’t shut up, they’d “deal with her.”
A few people gasped.
Someone pointed at the screen
“Wait–isn’t that Mia’s Instagram handle?“]
Bingo
