They seem to nod in respect.
“Well that will be all for today.” I say.
“You all are dismissed.”
I walk out with my father, sister and Carly.
“You did good.” Says my father complimenting me.
“Thanks Dad.” I say smiling. “I’ll be off in need to be alone in my office.”
I walked away from them until in bumped into Nutella.
“Where is your mate?” I asked in a teasing voice.
She look irritated.
“He is so mean and cold.” She say looking very mad. “I hate him.”
I shook my head. “No you don’t.”
“Anyways that’s not reason I can to talk to you.” She says.
“Alpha Raphael broke his engagement up with Madison.”
I could not believe what I was hearing. After all these years he chooses now. Now out of all days.
“He said that Madison was never his true mate.”
Like if I didn’t know that.
“Let’s change the topic.” I say brushing it off. “Tell me when are leaving with your mate.”
“Unfortunately today.” She looked very sad. “He said that i better have my things ready by then”
I smiled at Nutella.
“I don’t understand why does he have to be so cold.” She say angrily.
“He’s a vampire they are always cold.” I said blankly.
We both started to laugh.
“My queen!” I hear one of the guards coming.
“Yes.” I ask.
“It’s your Friend Bellin she has been injured.”
I heart started to panic.
“Where is she!”
“She’s is laying on the castles entrance.” He says. “She doesn’t want to be moved.”
“Bring the healer.” I yell.
As I run. I fast as I could. I don’t think I could forgive myself if anything happened to Bellin. She one of the few people that has been there for me. She understood what I am going through. She helped me manage myself.
I run as the servant, alphas, lunas. I can hear them calling and coming after. They are telling me not to open the doors. I don’t listen. I have to help my friend.
Once i open the door the snow starts to come in. As its starts to come down faster. I see Bellin laying on the ground bleeding out. She has a claw marks on her stomach.
I drop to the ground. Tears start to choke me up.
“Who did this to you?” I say crying.
She looked up at me. Worry seemed to come across her face.

“They are here.” She says. “The Fallen they wanted me to tell you prepare for war.”
“Please stay with me.” I say. “A healer is one its way.”
“Be careful Aphrodite.” She says smiling. “You are like sister to me I love you.”
With that she closes her eyes. She stop breathing. I hold her closer to me. I start to cry. The snow turns it to rain and thunder. Sadness and Anger ran through me.
I want kill them. I want their heads in sticks so everyone can see don’t mess with the Queen.
“Aphrodite!” I hear Carly.
I turn slowly. I noticed a lot of people are at the entrance. I noticed Raphael.
The thunder is louder and stronger.
“Aphrodite calm down please.” I hear my father
say.
Raphael starts getting closer. The snow starts to mix with the rain and thunder.
“Stop.” He says softly.
I walk up to him and slap him. As hard I could. I hate him.
“I hate you.” I said. “I wish I never met you.”
My anger starts to take over.
“I wish it was you dead instead of her!”
Hurt crossed his eyes.
I look over to the guards.
“Pick her up so we can have her funeral.” I say.
I look at Raphael’s Beta.
“You broke her heart.” I say. “Now look at her.”
He drops to his knees. Tears falling down his eyes.
“Now you will die knowing it’s your fault that you true mate is gone.” I say shaking my head. “You will die knowing that you rejected her.”
I look over at the Beta’s fake mate.
“You should be ashamed of yourself.” I say looking at her in disgust. “You knew he was not your mate and still you made it seem like he was.”
I turn back to Raphael.
“You pack might be strong.” I say to him. “But it is truly a disgusting pack to be in.”
If the fallen wanted war. It’s war they will get.
