I turned around but couldn’t recall a single memory of him.[]
He looked like he’d been searching for me for a long time. Despite appearing somewhat flustered, his eyes were filled with the joy of finding something lost.
“I finally found you! I have so much to tell you. What happened before was my fault. Do you have time? Can we talk?“||
He reached out to take my hand. Behind him stood a girl who seemed to be in a foul mood.[]

I deliberately emphasized the words “have a drink,” which made even Alvis beside me freeze.
On our way home, Alvis seemed like he wanted to say something several times.I looked at him curiously.
“Just ask whatever you want to ask.”
Alvis gave in, hanging his head in confusion.[]
“When did you recover those memories? Or did you never actually lose them?”
I smiled.
“Don’t doubt your psychology expertise. I did lose those memories, but I got them back when my parents kept dropping hints about my past.“]
“I didn’t mention it because I didn’t want to worry you all. So you need to help me keep this secret.“]
Alvis smiled and agreed.[]
I treated Evan’s appearance as just a minor episode to be forgotten in a corner of my mind.[]
But I hadn’t expected Evan would be so persistent–it wasn’t like his usual style.[]
When Alvis and I went to the lab, he followed from a distance.[]

When Alvis and I walked in the park, he waited at the park entrance.
Many times, I wondered if this person was truly Evan Keith, since he never used to follow me around like this.
During another encounter, he finally lost his patience. “Thalia, are you treating me this way because of him?“]
He pointed at Alvis, looking at me as if I were the unfaithful one.]
I found it laughable.[]
