Chapter
“Moon, want to try my new wine from this year?”
*Moon, the grapes are almost ripe, do you want to taste them?*
His cautious demeanor reminded me so much of my old self.
I chuckled.
“Okay, I’ll see if your skills have improved.”
Alex and I drank glass after glass.
That night, we talked about many things, but never once mentioned that argument.
Because we both knew it was in the past.
The next morning, I was woken by Ethan Carter.
The hangover left my head pounding.
I struggled to get up, only to see him waiting at the door with a whole group of people.

Tears in her eyes, Chloe furiously chastised me.
“Jenna Miller, you’re nothing but my shadow! How dare Ethan treat you like this?”
“Jenna Miller, do you know? Ethan was the one who convinced me to get divorced! He said he’d take responsibility for me. How could he go back
on his word?”
“The wedding was something I fought for by threatening to end my life! Jenna Miller, can you love someone with your life?”
Hahaha, you can’t, but I can. I missed out on him for three years. If it weren’t for you, this vixen, for those three years his heart would have been
