George and Maya were sent abroad.
George tried to escape and return to the country multiple times, but he was always intercepted before he could even reach the airport gates. Unwilling to stay abroad and unable to escape, he had no choice but to call Liam and beg for mercy.
“Brother, I promise I’ll never bother my sister–in–law again, okay? Please let me come back. I want to come home.”
Liam’s reply was cold. “If you don’t want to be abroad, you can die.”
George was utterly defeated.
He then tried calling me for help.
“Anna, can you talk to my brother for me? Please let me come back. Maya and I can’t stand the sight of each other, and I don’t spe- ak the language. How am I supposed to live here?”
Liam was about to say something, but I covered his mouth.
“How could that be? You left in such a hurry, I didn’t even get a chance to wish you a long and happy life together.”
At this, George exploded.
“How could have a long and happy life with that shameless slut?! She’s been here for less than a month and she’s already slept with the neighbor!”
His voice rose to a shriek, and Yoyo started crying in the background.
The child, at least, was innocent.
!sighed. “We’ve already arranged for Yoyo’s schooling, from now until she graduates. Make sure she studies hard.”
After hanging up, I couldn’t help but shake my head. To think that two people who were once willing to defy all morality to be toget- her had come to this.
Six months later, Yoyo called Liam, sobbing.
“Daddy killed Mommy.., boo hoo…”
[Sigh, what a shocking ending.]
[Maya thought George was a loser and slept with all the neighbors.]
[This time, George caught her in the act with another man in their house and killed her in a fit of rage.]
The Parker family couldn’t bear for Yoyo to be alone abroad. They had her brought back and found a good adoptive family for her. As for George…
He could wait for his judgment abroad.
