Choked momentarily by the remark, Casimir steeled himself, attempting to explain.
Yet could sense that, given Leonardo’s intelligence, explanations would be futile, so he simply decided to go with flattery.
“How could I possibly compare to you, Mr. Foucault? You’re impressively built, extraordinarily intelligent, and carry yourself with an outstanding aura. Only an exceptional man like you is worthy of Ray–Ray. As for an ordinary man like me, I can only admire her from afar,”
Just as expected, Jeremiah’s ego was stroked.
He turned around again, addressing Raylee. “Did you hear that? Your ex–boyfriend just praised me for being outstanding. You should cherish and love me more, understand?”
Blushing. Raylee shyly buried her head in his chest. “I get it, darling. I’ll love you forever!”
Watching the pair’s sickening displays of affection, Casimir felt a wave of goosebumps wash over him.
“No wonder rumors spread so easily. Dmn it, this Mr. Foucault is such an idiot! A few words from a woman are enough to completely manipulate him.
Is this a good thing? Of course it is. I have Raylee eating out of my hand, and she has Mr. Foucault eating out of hers. Doesn’t this mean I’m essentially pulling the strings of Mr. Foucault as well? When the time comes, I can coax five trillion out of him, let alone five hundred billion!
The thought of himself reaching the pinnacle of success and leading the Sutherland Group to become the dominant force in Jexburgh’s business world filled Casimir with indescribable excitement.
“Once the media company is established, I’ll let you manage it, Ray–Ray. I have high hopes for you!” Jeremiah added.
“Ah! No, that won’t do. You’ve already given me Snow Wave Amusement Park, and I haven’t even had time to manage it yet!” Raylee hastily waved her hands in refusal
“In: so inexperienced. How could I possibly manage such a large project? I don’t want you to end up losing all your money.”
Jeremiah gave her an affectionate look.
“Even if you do, so be it. I have plenty of money. If you keep losing it, I’ll keep funding you.”
Upon hearing these words, Casimir was utterly taken aback.

“Oh, it was a gift from Mr. Victor,” Jeremiah said nonchalantly. “I initially didn’t feel like taking it over, but a mansion inside happened to catch my eye. Ray–Ray seemed to like it too, so I decided to accept it.”
Raylee nodded, saying. “Exactly. I heard that the mansion belonged to Waverly. I really love the layout and design!”
Casimir simply couldn’t come believe his cars.
“Mr. Foucault, do you realize that Snow Wave Amusement Park is the cornerstone of Goodridge Group! It’s a grand project that combines an amusement park and resort, with an investment of tens of billions. It was rated as the most promising holiday destination worldwide Back then, Mr. Goodridge gave the project to Mr. Victor in a desperate attempt to save his daughter. He never would have imagined that the latter would end up handing it over to you!”
The most baffling part to Casimir was how such a huge project ended up in Raylee’s hands.
Moreover, the latter didn’t treat it seriously, giving no thought to Snow Wave Amusement Park’s development.
This is such a waste of resources! Raylee, oh Rayler, you’re truly lucky to have ended up with Afr. Foucault, a man who’s not the sharpest tool in the shed but has money to burn. You have him eating out of your hand, showering you with both projects and money.

Casimir felt that the Snow Wave Amusement Park’s lack of progress was a shame, but it didn’t stop him from coveting it.
Immediately, a glint of greed flashed in Casimir’s eyes.
“What’s the matter? Mr. Victor showed his sincerity by gifting me Snow Wave Amusement Park. We also quickly agreed to a collaboration,” Jeremiah said, holding up eight fingers. “For the project I collaborated with Mr. Victor. I invested eighty billion in it. The money has already been transferred. We’re just waiting to start!”

“I can’t believe that the head of the Lorimer family used Goodridge Group’s cornerstone project as leverage to build a relationship with Mr. Foucault! Casimir took some time to digest what he had heard.
He touched his wildly beating heart, then picked up the coffee cup from the table and took a sip.

After a while, Casimir also said, “Mr. Foucault, I need to use the restroom too.
At the entrance of the restroom, Casimir was waiting for Raylee.

“I have a question for you, Mr. Foucault gave you Snow Wave Amusement Park a long time ago, why didn’t you tell me?” Casimir’s expression turned grave as he added. “How could you handle such a huge project all by yourself? Don’t you realize that you’re wasting such an incredible resource?”
