That night, I got myself completely drunk.]
How I left and got home, I couldn’t remember at all.]
I only remembered that the boy wanted to come home with me, but I pushed him away.[]
The next day, when I woke up from my hangover with a splitting headache, I realized it was already afternoon.[]
I rubbed my temples, struggling to sit up, and fumbled for my phone that had been thrown in the corner.

I laughed coldly, threw the phone aside, and prepared to shower to clear my head.[]
Just then, my phone rang urgently.[]
It was the butler, his voice more panicked than I’d ever heard:[]
“Miss Stone! Please come back quickly! Mr. Stone Sr. had a heart attack and has been rushed to the hospital!“[]
Buzz – my mind went blank, the hangover headache instantly replaced by overwhelming panic.]
“What happened? Grandfather’s health has always been good.”
I grabbed my coat and rushed out, asking the butler for details.
“It was… it was Elliot!“]]
His voice trembled with anger and fear.[]
“This morning, Elliot and a girl named Isla barged into the garden to find Mr. Stone Sr.
“We don’t know what they said, but it made Mr. Stone Sr. very angry. He turned pale with rage, then clutched his chest and collapsed.“[]
“Isla had some photos and videos. I overheard words like ‘affair‘ and ‘cheating‘…“]]

A cold chill instantly spread from my feet through my entire body.[]

I ignored the red lights and floored the accelerator, racing toward the hospital.]
I rushed into the VIP floor of the hospital. The emergency room light was still on.[]

I was almost amused by this absurd logic.]
“You brought your mistress to my grandfather, lied to him, and framed me for cheating?”
Elliot was scared enough by my glare to step back, but still maintained a defiant tone.[]
“Isn’t it true? The photos and videos you sent last night – aren’t they real? You were with those guys, weren’t you?“]
“Isla couldn’t accept it. She thought you went too far. She felt sorry for me, so she stood up to help me solve the problem – what’s wrong with that?“]
I looked at the red light of the emergency room, suppressing my anger.[]
“Elliot, let’s get divorced.“]]
Elliot’s face went pale, staring at me in disbelief.[]
“Lydia, over this? Grandfather is still being resuscitated, and you want to divorce me?“]]
“This?” I looked at him and Isla.[]
“You brought your mistress to my grandfather’s house, ruined his health, and nearly killed him.“[]
I was too lazy to listen to Elliot’s excuses and directly ordered the security guards and butler who had rushed over:[]
