Hearing his disappointed tone, like he was scolding a child, made my anger fare even more.
If I thought I could win, I’d have punched him in the face the same way I hit her.
Who does he think he’s talking to?
Lydia was even angrier than I was, gripping my hand tightly.
“Steven, what do you even low? Before you became a CEO, you could tell something was wrong with me just by looking at me. Now that you’re a CEO. I’m being treated like crap, and you think I’m just playing around.” ||
Steven frowned even deeper. “Speak to me properly.
