Chapter 11
Kate was pushed away in astonishment.
During this period of tenderness, Calvin surprisingly had no feelings for her at all, but was still thinking about that old woman…
Kate’s face instantly darkened as she protected her stomach and said coldly. “Helena has long been driven away by us, Calvin. Wake up, now only me and the child are willing to accompany you!”
Child?
The man paused in his movements, staring blankly. He seemed unable to comprehend, furrowing his brow slightly as a dull ache spread across his chest.
Kate saw him calm down and thought it was because of the child. She deliberately took Calvin’s hand and placed it on her belly, whispering, “Feel it, it’s still very small, but it will grow up and call you daddy in the future.”
Calvin, however, lowered his gaze and stared straight at the clothes on her body.
These days, Helena is not at home. Kate often goes in and out of the walk- in closet, casually picking Helena’s clothes, quite impolitely.
Anyway, it wasn’t the first time. Helena had worn her wedding gown before, so she didn’t need to worry about anything else.
But at that moment, Calvin seemed to suddenly go crazy, and he began to forcefully tear off her clothes: “Don’t wear it, Helena’s! Take it off… give it back to Helena!”
Chapter 11
Kate was no match for his strength. Her slightly bulging belly was mercilessly pulled and twisted by Calvin until it hurt.
She was forced to step back and accidentally kicked over the trash can. Something seemed to roll out from inside, making an extremely crisp sound.
Calvin suddenly stopped and stared blankly at the women’s wedding ring rolling on the ground.
His pupils contracted, and his lips trembled uncontrollably.
It was a wedding ring…
Helena’s wedding ring.
She didn’t want him anymore!
A strong sense of suffocation spread from Calvin’s internal organs, causing his face to instantly turn pale. At that moment, Dorothy hurriedly knocked on the door, “Mr. Fernandez, Mrs. Fernandez’s seven–year anniversary gift has arrived!”
Calvin suddenly looked up, his dull eyes suddenly lighting up, his heart beating faster and faster.
He knew that Helena could not leave him!
She must have been too busy recently, but it’s okay, he will forgive her.
He stepped over the woman on the ground, quickly took the delivery box, and swiftly opened it – a glaring divorce certificate was lying quietly in the center.
Calvin’s smile froze on his face instantly. He instinctively retorted, “Fake, it must be fake…”

Calvin’s fingers tightly gripped the edge of the divorce certificate, and the fragile paper began to warp.
The glaring sunlight outside the window burned on the back of his hand, but Calvin inexplicably felt cold, as if a chill was emanating from his.
bones.
He stared at the divorce certificate with a heavy gaze, unmoving.
Dorothy also quickly spoke up: “There must be some misunderstanding here, Mr. Fernandez. I will call Mrs. Fernandez right now!”
However, the ending was the same as before.
Helena still did not answer, all that could be heard was the mechanical female voice of the busy signal.
Kate knelt on the ground, clutching her stomach, her expression contorted. in pain. She was about to speak when she caught sight of the divorce certificate out of the corner of her eye. Her eyes trembled with excitement as she exclaimed, “Calvin, you are free!”
Kate was ecstatic: “Great, so you’ve always looked down on Helena for her low education, only caring about making money, and thought you had nothing in common with her, right? Now we can finally get rid of her, Calvin, we can finally be together openly and honestly!”
Calvin, however, had no reaction. His pupils were pitch black as he silently stared at the divorce papers.
It must have been fake.
Helena has always enjoyed playing these little tricks to get his attention.
For the past seven years, she has revolved around herself almost every day. How could she possibly bear to divorce, to completely leave him?

Chapter 11
Calvin threw away the divorce certificate, picked up his phone, and dialed the number of the most urgent contact – Helena.
He knew that whenever it was his call, Helena would always answer immediately, no matter what she was doing. It had been like this for the past seven years.
However, as the long ticking sound passed, Helena still hadn’t managed to dial the phone.
