Chapter 4
Kerian’s forehead creased–something was definitely off about her today.
But before he could think about it more, Sophia burst through the office doors, her voice all sweet and whiny:
“Kerian, is your meeting over? You promised you’d come to my class reunion, remember?”
Kerian suddenly remembered and nodded. “Shit, right. Let’s go.”
Sophia’s eyes shifted to Victoria, and she grabbed her hand all friendly–like: “Victoria should totally come with us! The more the merrier!
Victoria instinctively tried to pull her hand away.
“No thanks, I don’t know any of your classmates.”
“Oh come on, that’s exactly how you get to know them!” Sophia tugged on Kerian’s arm. “Kerian, tell her she should come!
Kerian looked at Sophia’s pouty face and finally gave in.
“Vic, just come with us. It’ll be good to get out.”
Victoria was about to say no, but seeing those eyes that used to be only for her now melting for another girl made her feel almost amused

He downed all three in one go, and everyone finally backed off, laughing as they found seats
That’s when someone noticed Victoria standing off to the side.
“Wait, who’s she?”
Just as Kerian was about to answer, Soplja jumped in with a smile: “Just a friend. Don’t worry about her.”
With one casual sentence, she’d basically erased Victoria’s existence,
Everyone quickly got back to partying and started playing drinking games.]

Everyone was gushing over them while Victoria sat in the corner, her nails digging into her palms.[]

“Exactly! Sophia, you better get your man under control!”
Everyone was laughing, and someone half–jokingly warned Sophia: “Girl, you better watch out Don’t let some thirsty bitch steal your man!
Victoria’s face went white as a sheet
She tilted her head hack and started downing shot after shot, her throat burning, but it was nothing compared to the agony ripping through her chest.
By the end, she was dizzy and could barely stand
Seeing Victoria swaying like that, Kerian immediately got up to help her.
“Vic, let me get you somewhere to rest”
“Kerian!” Sophia jumped up first, steadying Victoria with a sweet smile. The party’s not over yet! I’ll take her to rest–girl stuff, you know? It’s better this way.”
Kerian hesitated for a moment, then nodded. “Okay, take care of her.”
Sophia helped Victoria out of the room, but the second they got into the lounge, her sweet act completely dropped. She shoved Victoria hard, sending her crashing to the floor!

Victoria hit the ground, her knees screaming with pain. []
Before she could even process what happened, Sophia was standing over her with this twisted smirk:
Victoria, look at yourself. You’re nothing but a pathetic homewrecker.”
Victoria’s heart clenched as she struggled to get up. “What the hell do you want?”
“What do I want?” Sophia let out a cold laugh and clapped her hands. The lounge door opened and three strange men walked in

Victoria’s eyes went wide with terror. She spun around to run, but one of the assholes grabbed her by the hair and backhanded her across the face.
The pain made her vision go black. Before she could recover, he yanked her head and slammed it against the wall

Pain shot through her skull, blood running down her face. She clawed and kicked like hell, but these guys were way stronger.]
Sophia watched with satisfaction, laughing softly:
“Have fun, boys. Don’t let me stop you.“]
She turned and left, the door slamming shut behind her.
Victoria thrashed desperately, her nails cutting deep into her palms, but the men were already undressing and closing in with sick grins…
Just when she thought it was over, the door exploded open!

Kerian burst in with a crowd of classmates behind him.
His face was livid as he kicked the men away and scooped up Victoria’s battered body, his voice shaking:
“Jesus Christ, what the fuck happened?!”
Victoria was trembling all over, clutching his shirt with white knuckles, her voice hoarse:
“It was Sophia Lavirins… she hired them… to rape me!
Kerian’s pupils contracted as he looked toward the doorway
Sophia stood there in the crowd, looking completely innocent

seconds, then immediately had someone pull the footage.
Soon, a staff member handed over the video. After watching it, his expression went dark
Everyone asked nervously: “It wasn’t Sophia, right?“||
Kerian clenched his fists, but finally just said coldly: “No. It wasn’t her.”
Victoria’s entire body went rigid, staring at him in complete dishelier.[]
