‘How’s the whole mating thing coming along?‘ Liam asked curiously, his thoughts on Kelly as the rest of my pack seemed to be just as curious to what my answer would be. They wanted an alpha female along with their wolves, the fact I had been running the pack solo for years without a mate at my side practically unheard of. A mate was meant to be there to keep the alpha level headed, to help look after the pack and such and the fact I didn’t officially have one since I had yet to claim her meant every pack mates wolves were restless.
‘God it’s getting harder and harder to hold back mate, seriously she walks around in my clothes for goodness sakes!‘ I almost whimpered out as I remembered how she would walk around the pack house in my shirt and boxers, mentioning how she liked the fact that they were smothered in my scent and she liked the way the fabric felt as it touched her skin. I mean did she know how much it was taking out of me not to rip the bloody things off her and pound her into the bed sheets? I mean she looked so fucking edible that I could barely keep my hands off her when she was around, refusing to leave her alone when she was walking about since my wolf wouldn’t allow it due to his possessive side. He didn’t like his mate walking around while looking so delicious since she wasn’t marked yet. I vaguely wondered if she had noticed, how I had always made an excuse to follow her around even though I had tried to be subtle about

“I think we’ve all noticed that alpha, she isn’t exactly making it easy on you‘ Josh sniggered, thinking back to when he met Hannah. The chemistry between them had been instant, but she had teased and taunted him for weeks before finally giving in with a grin. It had been hilarious to watch, but that didn’t mean I found it funny when I was on the receiving end even though I knew Zoe wasn’t doing it on purpose.
“I know, she’s worth it‘ and she was, she was so worth it. She was worth the pull in my chest when she was away from me, the way my wolf snarled that she wasn’t mated and marked and the fact he was constantly restless for not having his alpha–female by his side constantly where she belonged. But she was worth waiting for, the gorgeous girl who had been through so much in her short life meant enough to me to make me fight my urges.
“You know Hunter, while I hate to have to see the mental images which flash through my head when you picture what might look like naked, I’m glad you’re the one she’s going to mate with‘ Jack stated quietly in his head causing me to both blush slightly
you think she in my wolf form and grin, thankful that no one could see me go bright red while I was my wolf.
Since I was the alpha it meant that I could easily hide my thoughts from others, but I tended to forget and the rest of the pack got a… eyeful to say the least. It wasn’t like I had seen her naked unfortunately so neither me or my wolf minded, when it came to making love to your mate the males tended to be able to keep it out of the thoughts of the others. It seemed natural, for the wolf in you to feel possessive enough not to want others to see what your mate looked like naked. Not that anyone was complaining, our wolves were possessive enough as it is without knowing that others had seen so much of your lover, your soul–mate.
“Thanks Jack, it means a lot‘ I said sincerely, a compliment from your alpha meaning a lot to both the pack mate and their wolf. I knew this which was why I rarely thanked someone so sincerely, not because I was ungrateful but because I knew how much it meant to a person’s wolf to be accepted and thanked by an alpha of your pack
*No problem Hunter, any time was his grinning reply before everyone had managed to catch up with me, making me realise that I had been further ahead of them then I realised. I had slowed down to a jog when I found it made sense to wait for them, safety and power in numbers after all. It would have been entirely different if I had felt fear from Zoe instead of just anger, however cruel It may have sounded if my mate was in trouble then she was my first priority, even over my pack.
“So what’s the plan Collin stated as we reached the school only for each of us to freeze as we took in the scene in front of us, Collins voice zoning off as we all found ourselves frozen in place. I didn’t know what I had been expecting, but it was definitely not this.
