Chapter 5

That would explain why Mr. Wendell sent me abroad to study art. It seemed that he had been going there to pretend to show his support towards me. This revelation was really eye–opening to

  1. me.

The third son, George, was furious and broke the news, “Well, Dad bought me an island abroad a long time ago, it’s worth 1 billion! Were you even treated as good as I was?”

I responded, “That’s right. After all, giving money was true love. So, my dad obviously loved you

the most.”

When George heard it, he was happy. However, the two oldest bastards were definitely not. Nevertheless, the question about who their father loved the most managed to cause three fully grown men to pick up fights.

They were fighting physically like maniacs. Meanwhile, the reporters took the opportunities to get good, dramatic pictures of the dramatic scene before them. In fact, one of the reporters did a livestreaming, shouting his lungs out about the three children of the ‘late‘ Mr. Wendell who fought.

I turned around, sighed and asked, “Dad, were they really your sons?”

Mr. Wendell’s face was really gloomy. It turned out that his illegitimate children dared to fight before so many people, which further ruined his reputation.

He couldn’t help but say, “Everyone, this is our family matter. Please let us deal with it ourselves. Just stay away first. Someone will make a statement later.”

My father was going to say it himself behind closed doors.

However, I already knew about it way ahead.

I knew the trick. I managed to appease my father’s three illegitimate children and then spent money to buy a notice saying that this did not happen. Although I was unhappy with the result, they were more afraid than me this time.

They felt that if Mr. Wendell did not admit it in front of everyone today, they would have nothing.

So, they cut their wrists collectively and prepared to threaten.

‘If you didn’t admit us, we would die in front of you!”

‘Yes, so that you would have no descendants!”

I had to admit that this was wonderful display. After all, Mr. Wendell loved his sons so much. The ideas of sons more important than daughters had ruled his mindset. So, what would he do if

he lost his sons?

So, I added, “Dad, if they were really your sons, just admit them. You also said before that you couldn’t have a second child because of the situations. Otherwise, you would also want a son.”

After I reminded him like this, the onlookers at the scene kept tagging him.

‘Yes, it was our country’s situation at the time that makes it hard to have more than one child. So, how could you have two children?”

That’s right. I remember that Mrs. Wendell was still alive at that time, so what did this count as? Having a mistress?”

My Dad Just Passed Away, But I Couldn’t Wait to Donate His Organs

1/2 45.09

“That’s impossible. Mr. Wendell was the CEO of a leading company in the industry. Not only that but he actively joined the national conferences. So, how could he ruin his reputation by having bastards?”

I raised my eyebrows slightly. In fact, these people were just repeating what I said. I couldn’t imagine my father’s perfect image from the past shattered due to the backlash he was suffering from now.

In fact, Mr. Wendell was so angry that he gasped and kicked one of the reporters as he shouted, “You fucking monster!”

Unfortunately, the problem was that he immediately vomited blood once he stretched out his foot due to his weak body. Once he vomited blood, the three bastards however looked rather excited. They called the doctor. “Doctor, was he dying?”

“If so, can the will take effect immediately?”

They were so excited that they didn’t even care about their own father. When I saw how excited they were, it made me almost unable to hold back the smile on my lips. Especially when I saw my father’s surprised and disappointed look.

In fact, I had to pinch my thigh so hard, or I would have laugh like crazy.

“Money, money!”

Without further ado, they called the bank.

“My dad said before that he had given us a trust of 10 billion in the bank!”

The bank representative said that this was true.

It caused the three men to be so happy that they didn’t care that there were people at the scene. Immediately, they told the bank that they wanted to withdraw the money as fast as they could.

“But…

11

“But what?”

“We couldn’t withdraw it.”

The illegitimate children were collectively confused, asking the bank’s representative, “Why is that?”

I smiled slightly as I said, “Oh, sorry, I just bought a glass of water and swiped your trust. It’s not much, just one dollar.”
