The crowd was eating it up: “Look at these two losers going at each other! Trash fighting trash – might as well just move in together at this point!“]
I looked around and found the principal: “Can we please get back to the actual awards ceremony and give my daughter what
she earned?”
The principal nodded frantically: “Yes! Absolutely! Right away!“]
Lily flashed me the biggest smile and walked confidently to the stage. During her acceptance speech, she said:]
“Now everyone knows I’m the Oceanview heiress, but every single grade I’ve gotten at this school came from MY hard work. I never used any connections. This trophy belongs to me because I EARNED it!“]
The crowd erupted in thunderous applause. I couldn’t have been prouder.[]
After that day, I had my lawyers go after Ryan for stealing marital assets.
Turns out Charlotte’s entire lifestyle was funded by Ryan’s stolen money. Once we froze everything, she was instantly homeless.[
And Madison? She only got into that fancy private school through bribery. Now she couldn’t even afford tuition and had to drop out.
As for those parents who trashed me and Lily at the ceremony – I gave each of them a little reality check.]
Pretty soon they were all at my door, literally on their knees begging for forgiveness through tears.]
I watched coldly, then had security throw them out.[]
I’m not usually petty, but I don’t let anyone who hurts me or my daughter walk away unscathed.[]
I didn’t hear about Ryan and Charlotte again until two months later.[]
After I fired Ryan as CEO, his reputation was completely destroyed – basically blacklisted from all of Harbor City.[]
But he’d gotten used to the executive lifestyle and refused to do any real work.[]
He ended up getting involved in some shady illegal stuff to make quick cash. Of course he got caught and thrown in prison heard he got several years.[]
Charlotte was even more useless. She’d been living off men her whole life, so she ended up running some pathetic little street cart. Madison got kicked out of school and turned into a total delinquent, constantly getting into fights.[]
Charlotte barely made enough to cover Madison’s medical bills from all the brawls.[]
I happened to walk past their little setup once.[]
Charlotte was grabbing Madison with bloodshot eyes: “Please, just behave! Stop fighting!“]
Madison exploded: “Get OFF me! This is all YOUR fault! I got expelled, everyone talks shit about me – leave me the hell ALONE!“[]

Madison kicked Charlotte hard in the knee, grabbed all the money from their cash box, and stormed off without looking back.]
Charlotte just sat there looking completely defeated.[]
I felt absolutely nothing watching it. They were just strangers to me now.[]
My company kept growing under my leadership, and Lily was about to head off to that international robotics program.[]
