Chapter 9
“Did you arrange for someone to toss Oliver’s body into the wilderness as food for the dogs?”
As Eric came back, Ariana rose to her feet, her eyes aflame with intense hatred, sharp and clear.
After all, it was merely a stray dog.
Eric realized he’d been too indulgent with Ariana, which had led her to commit such an outrageous act.
His expression turned grim as he addressed Ariana.
“Are you aware that your kidnapping resulted in Mandy losing her child? Will you acknowledge your error?”
Ariana suddenly erupted into laughter, her voice piercing and high- pitched.
“Eric, I damn you and Mandy to the depths of hell!”
Eric’s expression shifted instantly.
He hadn’t anticipated Ariana’s lack of remorse.
“If you hadn’t arranged for Mandy to be kidnapped and assaulted, she wouldn’t have accidentally fallen and lost the baby while trying to get
away.”
Eric’s face darkened, disappointment clouding his eyes.
“Since you’re so fond of orchestrating assaults, I’ll ensure you experience

it firsthand.”
Eric gathered four men and confined them in a room with Ariana.
Mandy stood behind Eric and tugged on his sleeve.
“Eric, let’s just let it go. Despite Ms. Harlan having me kidnapped and attacked, I’m ultimately alright.”
Mandy’s head drooped, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears.
“In the end, my child and I can’t stand up to Ms. Harlan.”
Eric gently patted Mandy’s head.
“Dear, she made a mistake and should face the consequences. I have to provide an explanation to our child.”
Ariana fought against being pulled into the room.
“Eric, I hate you! I wish we had never crossed paths.”
Her words were abruptly silenced when the door slammed shut.
Shortly after, the room filled with Ariana’s struggles, sobs, tearing clothes, and heart–wrenching screams.
Eric frowned.
He had explicitly told them earlier that the person inside was Mrs. Gibson, who was just being difficult, and that intimidating her would suffice.
Anyone who dared to touch Ariana. Wherever they placed their hands, that part would be severed; not even a finger was permissible.
But why was Ariana reacting so violently, as if she were truly being

harmed?
As Eric was about to open the door to investigate, Mandy unexpectedly collapsed.
“Eric, my stomach hurts so much…”
Without a second thought for Ariana, Eric quickly scooped Mandy up and dashed to the hospital.
The door of the Gibson’s villa slammed shut, sealing off Ariana’s desperate screams for help from within.
Two hours later, inside that same room.
Ariana lay motionless on the floor, barely covered by shredded clothes.
Her face, neck, chest, and thighs were covered in marks from resisting the assault.
Even her private areas were slightly bleeding.
The four men nearby fastened their belts, their faces displaying satisfaction from having had their fill.
“Just experiencing Mrs. Gibson is worth our entire lives, fellas!”
“Absolutely! Mr. Gibson must be heartless. His own wife slips up, and he lets us enjoy the moment.”
The four men exited the room one by one, leaving Ariana behind, abandoned like a shattered doll in the desolate space.
She gazed blankly at the ceiling, as though her spirit had been ripped
away.
Ariana would never forget how those four men held her down, completely
defenseless.
How they had ripped her clothes apart and assaulted her one after the
other.
The sensation of being overpowered, humiliated, and violated–of having everything shattered–would remain etched in Ariana’s memory for the rest of her life.
