After a week with no word from Dax, I bring enforcement officers to Ivy’s place as planned to recover the company money.[]
Just arriving at Ivy’s mansion, I run into Dax reeking of alcohol, standing at the entrance.
Following his gaze, I see the luxurious living room filled with men and women partying.[]
Ivy is intimately cuddled up to some strange man, smiling sweetly.
The home Dax once carefully decorated for Ivy has become a playground for debauchery.[]
“Ivy!” Dax screams as he charges inside.]
Ivy’s smile freezes for a moment.][]
“Who is he?” Dax angrily points at the man.[]
The next second, Ivy smugly wraps her arm around the man’s shoulder.[]

Karma always comes back so perfectly.
Dax, who used to be so blind and stupid, finally sees clearly in this moment.[]
“Good bro my ass!”
He pulls out a knife hidden in his jacket and stabs it into Ivy’s stomach.]
Complete chaos erupts.[]
Blood, screaming, people running.
The officers with me react quickly, restraining Dax together.[]
As sirens approach and Dax is loaded into the police car, he struggles to shout at me:[]
“I was wrong, Ember! I don’t want any more bros!”
“It was all fake–I lied to you, they lied to me.“[]
“I got what I deserved. I brought this on myself.”
I don’t say anything, just turn to go collect the house.
Ivy dies from her injuries.]
However many years Dax gets sentenced to, I couldn’t care less.
