I strode through the dim corridor.[]
The sounds of drunken harassment from strangers filled my ears.[]
A fire burned in my chest, desperately needing cold air to extinguish it.]
Only when I walked out of the club’s main entrance could I finally breathe.]
To clear my head and sort through my thoughts, I didn’t call for a ride and walked along the roadside instead.[]
