The cops killed the party vibe instantly. My classmates went dead silent, heads down, scared shitless.
Harrison looked confused: “What the hell? Why are cops here?“]]
Lillian’s smugness cracked: “There was this homewrecker causing drama, so we… handled it.“[]
Harrison’s face went weird: “Homewrecker? Babe, you know you’re my only girl.“[]
Lillian pouted innocently: “Fine, maybe she’s not your side piece. But she still crashed my wedding to cause drama! Everyone was just defending me!“]
My classmates immediately piled on:[]
“Totally! This psycho’s been jealous of Lillian since high school!“[]
“Lillian invited her out of kindness and she showed up to ruin everything!“[]
“She’s always hated seeing Lillian succeed! We just taught her a lesson for acting so high and mighty!“““]]
They were desperate to stay on Lillian’s good side, throwing me under the bus to impress Harrison.
Lillian’s mom chimed in: “Sweetheart, this trash came here to embarrass you on your wedding day! Of course we had to put her in her place!“[]
Harrison nodded slowly: “Anyone messing with my wife deserves whatever they got.“[]
With Harrison’s approval, Lillian’s arrogance returned full force. She faced the cops defiantly:[]
“Officers, she crashed my wedding first! We were just defending ourselves!“]
The lead officer frowned: “Everyone involved comes to the station. Now.“]
My classmates nearly shit themselves, but Lillian stayed cocky: “Hell no! It’s my wedding day–I’m not spending it in some gross police station!”
She turned to Harrison: “Baby, you’re Washington’s king! Make this go away!“]
Everyone looked to Harrison desperately:[]
“Today’s your big day with Lillian–if everyone ends up at the police station, what a disgrace that’d be for you!“[]
“Mr. Ellsworth, you’ve got connections everywhere–one word from you and this all goes away.“]
Even Lillian’s mother jumped in: “My dear son–in–law, with all these relatives and friends watching, you can’t let us lose face like this.“[]
With everyone nervously begging for his help, Harrison stepped forward with pure arrogance: []

“Officers, I’m Harrison Ellsworth, CEO of Ellsworth Enterprises. I golf with your chief every weekend. Can’t we just forget this happened?“]
The cop hesitated, then hardened: “Sir, assault is assault. Only way this disappears is if the victim drops all charges.“[]
Harrison’s smile turned predatory: “Easy. Nobody crosses Harrison Ellsworth and gets away with it.“[]
He looked at Lillian: “Where’s this troublemaker?“]]
Lillian dragged him through the crowd, pointing straight at me: []
“There she is, babe! That’s the bitch who ruined everything!“]]
