On the wedding day, at Darius’s ceremony, 1 kicked open the banquet hall doors in my wedding dress.]
Celeste immediately went pale
“Ivy, what are you trying to do? Didn’t you already marry Kieran Sterling? Why won’t you leave Darius alone? What do you want? Do you need me to die to be satisfied?
Her words were like rapid gunfire, but I ignored her completely and walked straight toward Darius.]]

With that, I plugged the USB drive into the computer, and the LED screen immediately showed indescribable footage.
There was Darius–who claimed to be allergic to women’s bodily fluids–tangled up with Celeste in a hotel room, and the date was the same day as my IVF procedure
Next came the failure notices from my three surgeries]
Then the security footage of Celeste refusing to help when I was hemorrhaging and in critical condition, along with audio of Darius shouting at the nurses to get lost
And finally–audio of Darius and Celeste’s conversation in a car five years ago:
“You sure saving this chick will make us rich?
“Of course! I took a huge risk kidnapping her. If we don’t save her soon, someone else will. We gotta move fastr
“Sorry you have to go through this, habe. From now on we gotta keep our distance in public, got it? Once I’ve got her wrapped around my finger and taken over her resources. I’ll bring you home properly.“[]
“Tine. Darius, but promise me you won’t touch her even once, or I’ll expose everything about today!“[]

Darius’s eyes widened in shock and he stammered to himself ||

Kieran also projected the video of Darius buying discounted hotel tickets from a scalper onto the big screen. The audience erupted in laughter.
Many business moguls in the audience saw how the former rising star Darius had fallen so low he had to buy wedding venues from scalpers, and they shook their heads as they left
The police arrived right on time to arrest them both again[]
This time, no one could bail them out
I just stood on the wedding stage, waving goodbye to Darius from afar
Goodbye to my ex–husband.
Goodbye to my failed three–year marriage
Goodbye to my wasted youth
From now on, every step would be on a bright, wide road
