Vincent’s POV
‘Don’t be ridiculous babe, we’ve been together for seven years, Plus we are mates, you have my mark on you, there is no one in the world for you except me” I said my confidence slipping out a bit.
She can’t be serious right? She is only saying that to spite me, there is no way Kayla got married within a short period. She loves me too much to move on so quickly.

At that moment I felt like a part of me had been cut off and before 1 could say anything further she hung up the call, I tried calling her back but it wasn’t going.
“What are you still doing here man, everyone is waiting for you,” Henry my best man said as soon as he walked into my room. I ignored him and kept pacing around the room trying Kayla’s number.”
I then pause and turn to face him. “Where is Kayla” I asked.
“What do you mean? Ava is out there waiting for you_”

“I said where is Kayla!! Why isn’t she here” I cut him off in annoyance. From his expression, I could tell he was confused.
“The last I heard about her is that she got married..currently on her honeymoon” he replied as he took two steps closer to me. “I thought you knew”
“Fuckkkk_” I yelled driving my hand through the wall. “I lost her… I lost Kayla for a mundane” I said to myself. The reality of the situation gawned on me.
I love Kayla, for seven years I have loved her, even though I had an ulterior motive to be with her. She made a lot of sacrifices for me that no one could. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her but when Ava came into the picture I lost my senses.
Ava was everything I wanted in a woman physically, she looked innocent yet wild, and she was young and most importantly human, there is just something fascinating about her kind, I thought I could eat my cake and have it, but I guess I was wrong.
If Kayla is truly married to someone else, then I am doomed, I would lose my very chance of becoming the next Alpha of the blood moon pack. She was my key and now I have lost her. I have to get her back.
I checked for the next available flight to London, I was lucky to find one a few hours from now, so I booked it.
“Tell Ava I will be back for her,” I said to Henry “We are already legally married in court so she shouldn’t make a fuss about it” I gave him a pat on the shoulder and made my way out of the hotel.
The moment I stepped foot in London I made a call to confirm the current location of Kayla, I was told she went to the mall with her new husband so I headed there immediately.
“Kayla!” I called out her name the moment I saw her, she looked different, she was in a beautiful white dress. “I have finally found you”
“Vincent? What the hell are you doing here” She doesn’t seem happy to see me.”
I was about to say something when I noticed the man standing close to her, my confidence level dropped from five to zero, the famous Hardin Nicklaus. He came from the most powerful and influential family in London.
“This is who you left me for? I should have known_“}
“Oh please Vincent” Kayla cut in almost immediately. “Don’t be ridiculous, let’s not pretend you didn’t leave me for a mundane, you piece of shit” she spat out, her tone laced with venom.
“Kayla I am so sorry, I was foolish and I didn’t know what I was thinking…please come back to me and we can make things work again” I pleased as I reached out to hold her hands but Hardin stepped in.
He hasn’t said a word since I got here.}}
“I am married Vincent” Kayla replied flashing her fancy ring. “There is no going back, go back to Ava, I am sure she is worried sick about you”
“Don’t be stupid Kayla, we both know you don’t love him” I blurted out.”
“Watch your tongue Mr. Man, or I will have to cut it for you” Hardin threatened, I felt a chill run down my spine. But I wasn’t backing down yet not when I had information that could destroy their marriage.”
“Does she know? I asked my gaze fixed on Hardin.
“Know what?” Kayla asked.”
“That your husband is gay!”
