There wasn’t a trace of a smile on Narissa’s face–she was clearly serious. The atmosphere instantly turned tense.

Stuart shoved Gilbert and the others aside and ran to Manny and Nelson. “Nelson, you’ve gotta save me.”

“Don’t worry. As long as I’m here, let’s see who dares to hurt you or Sigmund,” Nelson said.

He even reached toward his waist. It was bulging under his jacket–obviously hiding a weapon.

That silent threat made even Jaylen and his friends nervous.

They might’ve seen a lot, but this–this was way beyond what they could handle.

After all, these guys were from Fire Wolves Gang. Rumor had it they killed without blinking. If things went sideways, they might all end up buried here.

At that moment, Stuart warned, “Little girl, I’m telling you–don’t act so cocky. Everyone in Sinney City knows the Fire Wolves Gang.

“Mr. Robles can literally tear a pack of wolves apart with his bare hands. See this? It’s one of Mr. Robles’s trophies. Each us has one.”

With a proud look, Nelson pulled out a wolf fang pendant.

Narissa glanced at it and let out a mocking laugh. ‘Fake.

“Did you just laugh at me? Are you laughing at me? You got a death wish or something?” Nelson suddenly lost control, clearly provoked.

Worried the guy might actually pull the trigger, Jaylen immediately stepped in front of Narissa. “Narissa, the fact that you’ve done this much for me is already enough. They’ve got real weapons–get out of here, now.”

Narissa might be tough, but no one could beat someone holding a gun–not even her.

But Narissa didn’t budge. She raised her hand and shoved Jaylen aside like it was nothing.

Jaylen stumbled and hit the ground hard. He looked up at Narissa in shock. ‘What the hell… why is she so strong?‘

“Feisty little thing, aren’t you? I’d like to see if you really have the guts to touch one of mine.” Nelson sneered, thinking Narissa was bluffing.

Narissa just let out a cold laugh. “Oh? Try me.”

The next second, everyone saw a blur. Narissa moved in a flash, stepping right up to Stuart in two swift strides:

Like pulling a trick from thin air, Narissa drew a military knife and gave it a quick slash.

Instantly, Stuart’s scream echoed through the racetrack the moment after.

Everyone froze when they saw two blood–soaked palms lying on the ground.

Chapter 40

Meanwhile, Manny’s eyes went wide, stunned beyond belief. ‘She actually did it? A girl that young?‘

Jaylen and his buddies had never seen anything so brutal. They gagged on the spot.

Nelson, who’d just been yelling about how Narissa wouldn’t dare touch his people, suddenly stiffened. Even the hand he’d placed on his gun was trembling.

Nelson wondered, ‘Who the hell is this girl? She’s clearly not one of us, but that strike… it’s ten times, no, a hundred times more savage than any of us.

Everyone was stunned. No one dared make a sound.

Narissa bent down, wiped the blood off her knife on Stuart’s clothes, and only then calmly put it away.

“No matter who you are, once you say it–you’d better own it,” Narissa said coldly and turned her gaze on Nelson. “And if I’d lost just now, would any of you have let us walk away unharmed?”

“Uh…” Nelson faltered under her stare.
