The wedding day arrived.[]
The castle stood majestically against rolling green lawns.]
I wore a pristine white gown and made my entrance in a flower–adorned carriage.]]
The rhythmic clip–clop of hooves, the beautiful strains of music.]]
Chase stood on the lawn in his sharp tuxedo, eyes bright as he waited for me.
I took his hand as he helped me down from the carriage, and together we walked step by step toward the altar.
Petals drifted down, butterflies danced, applause thundered.
After the officiant’s opening remarks, Chase went off–script and professed his love to me for ten solid minutes.]
I watched his trembling chin, his shaking hands.[]
By the end, his eyes were red and wet, his voice quavering.]
He talked about the first time we met.]]
He talked about the day we made our relationship official.[]
