Chapter 49
“Holy shit Hunter, what the fuck is she doing? Josh exclaimed as we all watched wide eyed and speechless as my mate suddenly started to sprint in the direction of where Stacy was still taunting Chloe, my eyes watching her helplessly as I felt myself whining at how much danger she was putting herself into. She didn’t stand a chance against Stacy; she was a female not a shifter! What was she doing, didn’t she care that she was putting herself in danger!
“No baby, please no‘ I found myself whining over and over again as I tried to fight against my wolf only to come up short, why was my wolf letting her do this? Here in front of us our mate was clearly going to get hurt and yet all I could hear him whispering to me is that she would be fine, that I needed to see something. I hated it, loathed it even as I felt my anger rise at both Stacy and my wolf. I wanted answers, and I wanted them now!
It wasn’t until she got half way and started to take off her shirt that I felt my previous struggling halt instantly, my head tilting to the side as her suddenly lime coloured green bra came into view. If I hadn’t of been so distracted with my mates‘ actions I probably would have chuckled at her choice of colour for her bra, or glazed lustfully at her generous chest as her breasts bounced deliciously with even step she took. But I was distracted, distracted with the fact that she now running at a speed not even a female should have been capable of
None of us could even think to each other as we watched her shirt hit the ground before blowing slightly in the wind, her shoes next to go before she somehow managed to get her skirt off while running revealing a sight that had my wolf moaning and purring in delight. Her legs looked so fucking long, her stomach toned and flat clueing me in on the fact she exercised a lot and her chest….just uh!
It wasn’t that what had my attention though surprisingly, my form to shocked to even think of trying to move again as I watched the air rippled around her just as she reached Stacy’s still distracted wolf. What happened next I couldn’t believe my eyes, Zoe phasing so quickly before suddenly the most gorgeous white wolf suddenly appeared in her place as she phased mid step, something which I thought was impossible.
I couldn’t help but take in her wolf, the size of it slightly bigger than Stacy’s but still smaller than my more than impressive size. I was the alpha after all. A few black markings were on her snowy white fur, her paw and ear pitch black making her look anything other than deadly, that was until she pulled the upper lip of her muzzle up revealing a set of perfectly white canines which seemed to be out for blood.

I watched with keen eyes as the claws of her paws on her front legs dug into the soft ground before she kicked off with her hind legs to gain leverage, all of this happening so quickly, so effortlessly that everyone watching could only gaze on in pure shock and amazement as my mate pounced onto Stacy’s still unaware form catching her by surprise.
Her bowl of shock and agony filtered into our sensitive ears but none of us cared, Chloe screaming out in surprise as the large brown wolf was suddenly knocked over before my mates glistening teeth sank into her sister’s neck with no remorse. I still couldn’t help but be scared for her though, Stacy had been trained whilst my mate hadn’t of been. It was unnecessary though since as soon as her teeth had made contact with Stacy’s brown fur it was obvious to us all that Stacy didn’t stand a chance in hell of winning
Chloe had instantly run towards the females of the pack who were close to iny mate once Stacy’s large wolf was taken down without hesitation, everyone’s eyes on the two large wolves as Zoe effortlessly threw Stacy to the floor causing another howl of pain to fall from her lips. Again none of us cared, only being able to watch on as my mate got into a defensive pose in front of all of the pack females mach to the relief of my pack mates. The fact she was protecting our soul–mates, our other half’s like a mother would her cubs meant that each and every one of them saw her as the alpha–female that she was born to be.
We continued to watch as Stacy hurriedly got back onto her feet; my mates quzzle now dark with blood that clearly wasn’t her own; the wound on Stary’s neck only making it more obvious whose blood it actually was. Stacy’s snarl rang through the woods as she got into an attacking pose, my wolf not liking the fact she was being aggressive to my mate but keeping the command in place knowing that I needed to see this, to see my mate as my complete and utter equal, as my alpha–female, as my other–half!
