“Well…” I sighed dramatically, actually messing with him now. Like I could stay mad at my mate when he was giving me the puppy eyes; something I both envied and loathed. He could get away with murder my mate could, looking all innocent and such…
“Let me grab a quick shower and we can go” he told me, a grin working its way on my features causing him to mirror my expression. Yea…we had a very strange relationship compared to most.
“Thank you, baby” I told him, pressing a kiss to his cheek when he made a move to walk past me.
“I think I deserve more than that” was all he got out before he crashed him lips against mine, his body shoving mine against the nearest wall as I moaned into his mouth at his taste. Fuck, this was something that I knew I would never get sick of.
“Urm…” I hummed as he pulled away, leaving me flushed as he shot me a wink. He was in the bathroom and turning the shower on before I had chance to shoot back a retort, his husky laughter causing me to growl as I stamped my way downstairs where I met Collin and Ellie in the kitchen.

“Ha!” Collin snorted. “I am so bloody glad he met you, he needs someone to put him in his place” he continued with a wink, Ellie giggling at his comment causing him to look at her with bright love filled eyes.
“He’s right you know, Zoe. You’re probably the only one that would get away with half the stuff you do” she giggled, my eyes rolling but I couldn’t help but shoot her a bright grin.
“What can I say?” I purred. “He loves me.” I winked, knowing how right I was with my comment. He was my mate; of course he loved me as I loved him.
It was a few minutes later when Hunter jogged down the stairs, a bright grin on his features as he was instantly at my side. Pulling me out of my chair and into a hug I couldn’t help but throw my arms around his neck, pecking him a few times on the lips but pulling away teasingly when he made a move to deepen the kiss.
“Zoe!” he growled, but like always I chose to ignore him.
“What?” I asked innocently, as if I couldn’t feel just how much lust he was sending in my direction.
“Stop teasing!” be continued to growl, moving forward for another kiss but I pulled away before his lips could press against my own. “What’s it worth?” I teased, hearing Collin snort as Ellie giggled. Hunter just looked shocked, though the amusement was clearly present in his eyes. Then again so was the slight annoyance; my alpha mate didn’t like it when he didn’t get his way I thought with a bright grin.
“Didn’t I give you enough last night?” he growled against my ear, his tongue flickering out to taste my skin causing me to shiver. Still, I decided to play some more.
“Last night?” I asked with fake confusion. “I can’t seem to remember, couldn’t have been that good” I shrugged out with fake ignorance, hearing laughter from both Collin and Ellie but a furious growl from Hunter as I dashed out the kitchen.
All I heard him say, or should I say growl, before I was out the door was ‘I’ll give you something to remember‘ before he shot after me. I grinned, throwing my head back with laughter as I thought about how much I was looking forward to this date he had obviously spent a hell of a lot time planning. I couldn’t wait.
