As Sophie’s desperate cries for help echoed through the phone, Logan didn’t even flinch. Instead, he kept smiling at me.
“Sophie, I already know what
you did, drugging me that day. This child cannot stay. Also, I’ve cleared up those rumors you spread across the packs about Luna Amelia’s infertility. The price for slandering my wife is that the pack doctor won’t give you anesthesia during the surgery. From now on, you won’t
be able to have children ”
Sophie’s breathing hitched as she sobbed uncontrollably, stammering through her words in a frantic attempt to beg for mercy.
“Alpha Logan! Logan! I was just momentarily out of my mind, I didn’t mean it. Punish me however you want, please, please don’t take our child from me! Lo–Asarahhhh!”
When Sophie’s sudden, terrifying scream filled the air, I instinctively frowned, blinking in surprise.
Seeing my reaction, Logan immediately hung up the phone. He took my hand, pressing it gently to his pale cheek, his eyes brimming with remorse.
“Amelia, I’ll have them send you the video of the surgery later. After you see it with your own eyes, could you forgive me just a little bit? Even a little would be enough.”
I pulled my hand back from his, which had been sullied, and watched as his expression fell. I casually suggested, “This hospital’s psychiatry department is quite famous. You should make an appointment right away.”
Logan smiled weakly at me. “Okay, I’ll do as you say.”
In his mind, the nine years he’d wronged me were an endless debt. But it didn’t matter–he’d spend the rest of his life making amends.
Just three days later, Joshua and I held our grand mating ceremony.
By the time Logan, having raced through traffic like a madman, arrived at the venue, the silver–haired priest had just finished the vows.
He watched, heart shattering, as 1–dressed in a flowing white gown–smiled radiantly at Joshua and said. “I do.”

“No! Amelia! You can’t marry him!”
His heart froze with excruciating pain as his whole body seemed to seize up, collapsing onto the vibrant red carpet. The usually composed Alpha Logan now resembled a drenched, homeless dog, kneeling before me with a hoarse, desperate voice
“Baby, please, don’t break our mate bond. I never intended to divorce you. I beg you, don’t become someone else’s Luna…”
With undeniable disdain, I looked down at him and said coldly, “Logan, considering that Alpha Christopher sent me a wedding gift, I’ll reluctantly forgive you for disrupting my mating ceremony. But this ceremony with Joshua is not for you. Please leave–go back to where you came from.”
Hearing my heartless words, Logan’s tears finally broke free, streaming down his face.
“Amelia, I truly understand how. If you’ll just give me one last chance, I swear will change…”

“I can’t live without you. Since you left, I’ve thought of you every day. Even in my dreams, it’s always about the good you once gave me. Amelia, I love you. I love you more than anyone else!
Logan’s agonized confession came pouring out in front of everyone, his love for me completely exposed. His emotions spiraled to the point where the veins on his forehead bulged as he tore at his black shirt, pointing to the bleeding moon mark on his chest. His eyes were full of pain.
“You are my moon, my baby. I’ll give you whatever you want, just please don’t leave me!”
I chuckled softly, a smail laugh escaping my lips as I stood there, completely unfazed. Logan’s entire being froze in shock
I met his empty, desperate gace and said, casually, “Logan, I already have someone who truly loves me, and I love him too. He’s my husband, Joshua As for you, even if every other man on earth dropped dead, I’d never take you back.”
I watched as Joshua, his wars bright red with excitement, placed a nine–carat diamond ring firmly on my finger. Log the blood in his veins turned to ire
