After finishing her full spa treatment, she still hadn’t received a reply from Magnus.
She felt anxious, but the wrist cutting performance couldn’t be wasted-she’d have to wait until tomorrow to return to the estate.
So she returned to the Verrier estate.
In the Verrier household, Odessa reigned like a queen-after all, the family’s current status and wealth were built entirely on her connection to Magnus.
At the dinner table, no one dared to lift their fork until she was seated.
Colton Verrier, her father, asked cautiously, “What about Magnus’s son? Could he become a threat to your position? Do you need me to take care of it?”
Odessa gently dabbed her lips with a linen napkin. “No need. I’ll make Magnus get rid of him himself. No reason to get our hands dirty.”
Colton nodded quickly-he knew his daughter had Magnus wrapped around her finger.

he entire Verrier family fell silent. Her ability to bear children was supposed to be a closely guarded secret.
hat kidnapping hadn’t been as brutal as claimed. The 99 bullets were just a ruse. Odessa was ruthless-to climb up to the Everhart family, she’d had doctors reate countless bullet scars. To manipulate Magnus perfectly, she’d bribed doctors to lie about losing her fertility.

dessa’s lips curved in an expected smile.
Magnus… what’s wrong? Are you this heartbroken because of me?”
Magnus suddenly gripped the hand that touched him, the glaring white bandage on her wrist so ironic.
Magnus, you’re hurting me…” She withdrew her hand, retreating to advance. “I was too impulsive yesterday. My father already scolded me. I’m sorry.”
He couldn’t help but laugh inside-after all these years, this was her first apology.
‘Odessa, Eli has been taken.”
Odessa rejoiced inwardly, feeling heaven was helping her.
Just as she was about to offer comfort, the tall man suddenly stood up, looking at her aggressively.
“Guess what I found in the attic?”
A diary with crooked handwriting was thrown into her lap.
It recorded everything that happened during those dark eight hours.
Dense writing, still stained with tear marks.
He gripped her shoulders through gritted teeth, with enough force to crush them.
“You actually made such a small child watch horror movies for eight hours! And put sleeping pills in his fever medicine-you wanted to kill Eli, didn’t your

That’s not… it must be childish scribbling!”
Besides! Wasn’t it you who locked Eli in the attic? Why blame me!”
Magnus felt his heart being torn apart as he roared, “I was just giving him a small punishment! I didn’t tell you to show him horror movies and drug him to

dessa squeezed out large tears, tightly wrapping her arms around his waist, admitting fault while avoiding the main issue.
Magnus, I know I was wrong. Eli’s gone, but I’ll stay with you. Don’t be like this! You’re scaring me!”
agnus pulled away the arms around his waist and walked heavily toward the exit, ignoring Odessa’s cries.
