Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

Violet’s condition grew worse, and Daniel became increasingly anxious.
All because I hadn’t shown up.
That day, Violet cried as she said to Daniel, “Daniel, I’m pregnant too. Will I lose this baby?”
After Daniel exhausted every way to comfort Violet, he sat alone in his study all night.
The next day, Daniel stormed furiously into Elsie’s hospital
room.
But he didn’t expect someone to have beaten him there.
Violet was crying, “Elsie, you watched me grow up. How can you just stand by and watch me die? For the sake of my pregnancy, please save me.”
Elsie said emotionally, “You liar! You’re not sick at all, and you’re not pregnant either.”
Seeing this scene, I suddenly remembered what happened six months before Christmas.

Daniel and I had spent many Christmases together, and he had long grown accustomed to having me by his side. Our relationship wasn’t terrible from the beginning.

But Daniel had caught Violet pleading with me countless times: “I really like Daniel. Please, I’m begging you to let us be together.”
Later, I became the vicious homewrecker, while Violet became
the victim.
Back then, Daniel didn’t hesitate to slap me and call me vicious, despicable, and shameless.
Now, Daniel rushed in without thinking and shoved Elsie aside.
He roared, “You old hag, what are you doing? You’re just like your despicable daughter—both of you are rotten. Looks like cutting off your medical expenses wasn’t enough.”
Elsie fell hard against the corner of the table, her forehead split open, blood streaming down.
My heart ached as I cried and tried to help her up. But there’s a difference between the living and the dead–no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t touch her.
Elsie still glared at Daniel with hatred, saying, “The way you’re treating me and my daughter, we’ll never let you go even if we become ghosts.”

“Is that so?” Daniel smiled coldly and waved his hand. His bodyguards immediately brought in someone bound tightly with
rope.
The bound person was Frankie.
The bodyguards threw Frankie to the floor.
Daniel stepped forward and placed his foot on Frankie’s head.
Listening to Frankie’s agonized cries, Daniel said calmly, “This is the Morrison family’s pet dog, right? Today, you’ve made me unhappy. How about I deal with him first?”
Elsie’s expression changed instantly.
After all, Frankie was like her own son.
“He’s a doctor, right?” Daniel looked at Frankie’s hands.
The next second, Daniel grabbed a dagger and plunged it viciously into Frankie’s wrist.
Frankie screamed in agony.
Daniel said coldly, “Remember, everything you’re suffering today is because you helped Harper bully Violet. If Harper were willing to show up, you wouldn’t have to endure this.”

With that, he let out a triumphant laugh.
Elsie trembled as she lunged forward, shouting, “No!”
Her eyes red, she gritted her teeth.
Elsie was a conservative lady who had lived a privileged life, never suffering hardship or humiliation.

Since Daniel came to the Morrison mansion, she had taken very good care of him.
But because of Daniel, her family members were dead, and her life had become chaotic.
Now, she actually lowered her proud head, trembling as she begged Daniel, “Daniel, please spare us, spare Harper.”
