As one of the most elite heirs in the country, I had never been humiliated like this before. But for the sake of my pregnancy, I held back my rage, afraid that any shock might harm the baby.
The streamers who had barged in, along with the curious onlookers trailing behind, started shouting and pointing fingers right in my face.
“You look decent enough, yet you’d stoop to being a d*mn homewrecker!”
“Exactly! You’ve got arms and legs, but won’t make an honest living–choosing to sleep around for quick cash! It’s women like you who give the rest of us a bad name!“”
I turned to Jade and said gravely, “You’ve got the wrong person. I’m married, and I don’t even know your husband. I need you all to leave my house right now.”
I thought they’d calm down and take a moment to get their facts straight. But to my surprise, Jade stormed over and yanked my hair.
“You filthy tramp! You like playing the mistress role so much–what, scared now? Afraid to admit it?”
Then, she pulled out her phone and shoved it toward the camera, shouting loudly, “Deny it all you want–it’s useless! The public sees the truth for what it is. Everyone, take a good look at the evidence in my hand!”
Fighting through the pain, I forced myself to glance at the screen. It was a gallery of chat logs–between me and my husband, Benjamin. At the very bottom was the prenatal exam report I’d sent just the day before, and scrolling up revealed an entire thread of explicit, intimate exchanges between us.
That was when it hit me–Benjamin had been playing both sides behind our backs.
The man who had pretended to be so devoted was actually cheating on me. And now that Jade/realized something was off, she mistook me for the mistress and brought this circus to my doorstep.
My husband’s betrayal and the mistress‘ outrageous accusations made my blood boil. I said coldly, “Jade Simmons, I suggest you go and sort things out with Benjamin. I’m his legally wedded wife.”
I thought that might make her back off. But instead, she slapped me across the face and shrieked with arrogance. “F*cking b*tch! You think you’re such a good actress, huh? Are you suggesting I’m the mistress now?!”
Stars exploded in my vision as my head spun.
Jade then pulled a piece of paper from her bag and held it high for everyone to see.
“Take a good look, everyone! This is my marriage certificate with my husband!”
My eyes flew wide open. Benjamin and I had also registered our marriage officially. My father had even hired a private investigator before the wedding to confirm that Benjamin had never married anyone else. It was impossible that he’d gotten another marriage certificate.
But before I could see the details clearly, Jade folded the paper up. By then, everyone was already looking at me with disgust and contempt.
The streamers immediately jumped in to stir the pot.
“We’ve been exposing mistresses for years. She’s the kind that plays the innocent card–classic repeat offender. Makes me
sick!”
“She’s probably so used to crawling into other men’s beds that she’s gotten bold enough to pull this in front of the real wife. Absolutely disgusting!”
“She acts all pure and pitiful, but she’s actually rotten to the core!”
If people could reach through the screen, I’d have been ripped to shreds by now.

Now that she had the crowd firmly on her side, Jade let loose a wave of fury. “Shameless homewrecker! How dare you steal my man–you’ll never get away with this!”
The streamers turned back to the camera. “Hit that follow button, give us a like–your support is what fuels us! We’re about to punish the mistress right here, live!”
Likes and gifts filled the screen nonstop. The viewers were furious, egging the streamers on to take action.
Jade picked up a bowl of animal blood she had prepared in advance and dumped it on me while I wasn’t looking.
“Let’s see how you like a bloodbath to wash off your filthy energy, you f*cking sl*t!”
I took off my soaked jacket and said coldly, “This coat costs 650 thousand. You’re paying for it.”
Jade burst into laughter. “Are you gonna say ‘this is Hermes‘ next, and that it’s crazy expensive? You think I’ve never bought Hermes before?! This knockoff–sure, the logo’s stamped in the right place, but what the hell are those letters next to it?!”
