The prince was crouching on the ground, holding his head. He looked at me in surprise.
He rolled his eyes and suddenly smiled, standing up and drawing the sword from his waist.
“Oh, naughty Cinderella, my No. 39.
“You’re just like No. 19, not listening to what I say. What are you doing here? Want to play hide and seek with me? Hmm?”
The prince walked towards me step by step.
My heart was racing, my hands and feet weak. I struggled to move backward.
The prince raised his sword.
Suddenly, the crystal chandelier overhead went out. A dark figure rushed in from outside the door and slammed the prince to
the side.
“Ah, who is it! Who dares to intrude into my chambers!”
The shadow and the prince grappled with each other. I picked up my skirts and ran out the door, fleeing desperately.
There was no moon tonight, not even stars. Dark clouds covered everything. I ran wildly; the palace gates were wide open. My eyes lit up with joy.

No one was on guard duty tonight. That’s right, this was just a fairy tale story. Except for the main characters, other settings were vague and not so detailed.
The prince had already caught up from behind.
I held up my skirts and ran to the palace gates, the joy in my eyes turning to despair.
I had forgotten that there was a moat at the palace gates. When I entered the palace, the guards had lowered the drawbridge,
and I had ridden across in a carriage.
I peered over the edge. The water surface was turbulent, and it was very high from the ground–at least ten meters. Jumping
from this height, and I couldn’t swim; there was no chance of survival.
The prince slowed his pace, playing with the sword in his hand, looking at me mockingly.
“Oh, my dear Cinderella-”
Before he could finish speaking, an arrow suddenly shot out from the distance, piercing my shoulder.
The tremendous force carried my entire body into the air, plunging into the moat.
The prince stamped his feet angrily on the shore.
“Damn it, my No. 39 specimen! Damn it, who was that! Curse them!”
The icy cold water of the moat engulfed me. I closed my eyes, feeling the life force slowly ebbing away from my body.
