Chapter 1
When I opened my eyes again, I was back to the day when my daughter first mentioned going abroad.[]
This time, I packed her bags and kicked her out the door.[]
“Do you idiots even understand what I’m going through?“]]
“Don’t you know that emotional value matters more than anything?“]]
I could hear the all–too–familiar shouting again.]
Hysterical, commanding.
Hannah stood on the couch, snow and dirt from outside stuck to the fabric, leaving ugly black stains all over.[]
I had just cleaned the couch yesterday.]]
Seeing me frozen in place, Hannah grew angrier. []
She threw a cup at me, and it landed right at my feet.[]
William, my husband, was startled and jumped in front of me, his face flushed with anger.
“Hannah, how dare you lay a hand on your mom!“|]
Our daughter scoffed, not even trying to hide her contempt. []
“What’s the problem? I told you, without my idols, I’m a freak.“]
“Don’t you get it?“]
“You’ve never cared about my mental health.“]
“You’ve never cared about me.“]
“He’s the only one who would go so far as to buy me food.“[]
“You people don’t understand!“]
“You two are nothing but useless, bottom–tier people, and you don’t even give me the chance to heal myself.“]
“I wouldn’t care if I just stop my medication and end it all!“[]
The medication she kept mentioning were the expensive antidepressants we bought for her.[]
But the only place those pill bottles ever appeared was in the pictures she posted on her social media. []
I’d never actually seen her take them.]
Mum I Became Good Could You Love Me NOT
Chapter 1
I don’t understand what happened to her. [
She’s my own flesh and blood.[]
Why does she look at me like I’m her enemy now?]
Staring at her immature, twisted face, I suddenly saw another girl before me.[]
A girl who looked just like her.]
Sarah.
Sarah had died in a car accident when she was four.[]
My twin daughters had become just one–Hannah.]
My heart ached, and I promised myself that I would give Hannah everything the world had to offer, for the daughter I still had left.
But instead, my endless guilt and overindulgence had turned her into someone unrecognizable.[]
My head was spinning as the memories of my past life and this life collided, making it all the more unbearable.[]
In my past life, just like now, Hannah had demanded thirty grand for a fan signing abroad, even though we had already spent tens of thousands on her. []
With my mother–in–law’s sudden illness, William and I were barely keeping things together, working two jobs each.]
William delivered food, while I worked in a kitchen to barely make ends meet.[]
Thankfully, my mother–in–law’s surgery had gone smoothly, and we were planning a little family gathering.
But just when I finished cooking dinner, Hannah barged in, starting her drama.]
She kept yelling about the thirty grand, and, of course, I refused.[]
I tried to talk some sense into her, but she only hurled insults.[]
