I sneered inwardly, thinking: “What a truly kind person you are!”
This magnificent castle had gathered about a hundred people, mostly students from our school aside from Edward’s friends.
Looking around, I spotted Olivia in the
crowd. She was chatting cheerfully with several glamorously dressed women.
Eliza said sarcastically, “She just has some money at home. What’s so great about that?”
Soon, Edward appeared. He smiled warmly at everyone and said, “Thank you all for coming to my birthday party. I hope you’ll have a wonderful time tonight.”
Hearing his words, everyone cheered in unison.
Edward was handsome and well–mannered, instantly capturing the hearts of many female college students.
One girl said, “His smile is so warm.”
Another chimed in, “Yeah, he’s so gentle. It would be amazing to be with him.”
I was somewhat speechless and asked flatly, “Have you all forgotten so quickly about that girl who was driven to jump off a

A female classmate shot me a disdainful look: “Edward is so gentle, how could he possibly do such a thing? I think that girl tried to force Edward into a relationship by threatening suicide, but accidentally fell.”
Hearing her words, I was stunned, staring at that demon in human skin on the stage.
Though Edward was smiling gently, I could still see the evil and madness in those dark eyes, like he was selecting suitable prey.
Before he made his choice, I had to deliver Eliza as prey right to
him.
Eliza was grinding her teeth with jealousy, stomping her feet hard: “Those bitches! My Edward isn’t someone they can covet. Once I become Edward’s wife, I’ll scratch all their faces. Sophie, help me think of something.”
I chuckled softly: “It’s simple. Just announce in front of everyone that Edward is yours, and they won’t dare act like this anymore.”
Eliza frowned: “Do you think I’m stupid? If I shout that now, people will think I’m crazy.”

Seeing Eliza hesitate, I gently touched her belly and added, “Your child is the best birthday gift for Edward. Isn’t this why you came to his birthday party? Now is the perfect opportunity – you must seize it. If another woman beats you to it, you’ll lose your chance.”
Eliza smiled shyly, then became anxious again: “But I’m still a bit nervous.”
Seeing her like this, I was puzzled: “What are you nervous about? You’ve already been intimate with Edward. Are you afraid he won’t acknowledge you and the child?”
Eliza was almost in tears: “Actually, I never had relations with Edward. What if he doesn’t acknowledge me? What should I do?”
Her words completely confused me.
I asked in bewilderment, “Then whose child are you carrying?”
Eliza stamped her feet anxiously, worried both that Edward would be seduced by other women and that Edward wouldn’t be interested in her.
She said, “The child really is Edward’s. I have a paternity test report.”
