Isabelle knew there was no way to avoid it, so she had to take the person to a very secluded place to explain the situation.
“Douglas, it is true that I am currently a single woman, but it is unlikely between us.”
Douglas, however, looked puzzled. He asked, “Then why can’t you give it a try and be with me?”
Isabelle saw how determined Douglas was and had to carefully explain, “I have been divorced. I have an ex–husband.”
Douglas was full of confusion, he fell silent for a moment, but did not hear any urge from Isabelle to continue speaking. He said somewhat puzzled, “Is that all? Is that the only reason for rejecting my pursuit of you?”
Isabelle incredulously widened her eyes.
“Isn’t this enough?”
Douglas, however, said, “What era is this? I’m surprised that a beautiful girl like you has never been in a relationship.”
“I liked you, no matter what happened in your past.”
Isabelle’s heart felt like it had been squeezed tightly, a warm sensation. enveloping her. She kept staring at the boy in front of her, who was smiling, and her heart inevitably started beating wildly.

Isabelle thought Nathalia wouldn’t agree, but she was surprised to see Nathalia actually took out some money from her pocket and handed it to Douglas, encouraging him to take Isabelle out to have fun, with a teasing look in her eyes.
This made Isabelle blush even more.
Even though it was already deep autumn, the sun was shining brightly.
Douglas didn’t just take her to the mall and buy a few clothes like Leonard did, he took Isabelle to the beach.
The deep blue sea accompanied by the salty sea breeze blew Isabelle’s dress up, and Douglas immediately tied his coat around her.
Douglas was wearing only a thin shirt, his brown curls swaying in the wind, his eyes bright and clear, shining in the sunlight like the purest blue jade.
Isabelle was momentarily stunned by what she saw, but then Douglas even took her hand and started running with her on the beach.
The feeling of the warm sand under their feet was wonderful. Douglas ran with her to the seaside, and the damp sand was right in front of them.
Wave after wave crashed against the shore. Douglas smiled at Isabelle, then let go of her hand, unbuttoned his shirt, and threw it on the ground, revealing his tanned skin underneath.
